#bookaday Day 9: Book about a Bookshop

Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore - Robin Sloan

This wasn't one of my favorite books, and I probably would have never even picked it up had it not been a book club read. However, it is definitely the most book-themed book that I have ever read.

 

A mysterious cult that is searching for the secret to immortality in an odd old bookstore - interesting concept, but one that failed to have a fulfilling ending for me. It did make me think about how awesome it would be to work the night shift at a 24 hour bookshop!
