Update: Not even half way there.
This feels really long as an audiobook. I knew it would be challenging, and it is, keeping track of the different time periods and characters. Unlike Rutherfurd's London, this one skips back and forth rather than marching chronologically through history. I like it, but I feel like I'm missing details and connections due to the format.
And I just realized that I'm not even 50% complete!
