I give up. I'm a little embarrassed, but I tried.

If it weren't for so many other better books calling out to me from my shelf....or if Raskolnikov would get up off the damn sofa....

People love this book. I wanted to love it too, but there is something I'm missing. 346 pages and I'm still missing it. Not a word of psychotic ranting, not a single character, not any portion of this book has interested me in the least. I'm told there is a point where it becomes interesting, but I will no longer be searching for it.
