NaNoWriMo

The topic of NaNoWriMo has started coming up, so I am going to make my official excuses now. I have participated, sort of, in NaNoWriMo in the past. I've never written 50k words in one month, but I have been able to increase my focus and reach other goals. I was going to reach for the 50k this year for my new WIP, which is biographical fiction featuring Margaret Pole, but plans have changed.

Plans have changed in a most excellent way. Instead of writing about England's history, I will get to experience it because I am travelling for 10 days in November! This has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember and I am more excited than I can say. Through this experience I hope to improve my writing, do some research, and simply explore and enjoy.

This is where I will be going:

I will take copious notes, and hope to write a historic locations blog series when I get home . . . assuming my husband is successful in convincing me to come home.
