Innocent Traitor: A Novel of Lady Jane Grey - Alison Weir I picked up this book from where it sat on my "to-read" shelf for about a year after reading a few books that had been unfortunately disappointing. I only wish that I had chosen to do so earlier! Weir is a wonderful author, and I had forgotten just how well she weaves fact with what must be assumed in terms of personality and motives. Her portrayal of Jane Grey is wonderful, believable, and heart wrenching. I was brought to tears by events that I knew were going to happen and so drawn into Jane's world that I felt that I was truly a part of it. From start to finish I was on the edge of my seat to read what would happen next even though I already knew.
