Review: A Christmas Crossing by Lynn Hubbard

A Christmas Crossing - Lemon Press Publishing

A Christmas Crossing is a short story that serves to introduce the author's novel, War of Hearts. Following the main character, Sarah, from Washington's crossing of the Delaware and beyond, we see her family decimated by the British Army and her own character and patriotism matured.

This wasn't quite what I was expecting, but was an interesting read. It would be a good young adult selection as it covers this part of American history in an interesting and simple way. The author even includes maps of each battle site.
